Hi Ted,
The EMD_URL ports for the agent and OMS on this system are both different.
And I believe the default port ranges changed for 10.2 (your reference is
for 10R1).
Also, that wouldn't explain why it's owned by root. The agent port is
controlled by the oracle software owner.
