There used to be a 'timethis' exe in the win98 ResourceKit...
I'll see if I can dig up some old CD's somewhere and send you a copy..it should 
probably still work..
(but as a Perl Evangelist I would have expected you to write your own 'time 
framework' ;-)

Any suggestions for a unix like 'time' command that
can be used from the command line, just on unix/linux?

I need to time some RMAN operations on Win32 box.

I've already DL'd and looked at Windows SFU (unix services), 
but that is a pretty heavy install to just get the 'time' command.
