I think that's passed through the argument list Andy. I've not done a
silent powershell install so I'm not sure what the interaction between the
nowait *in* the powershell cmdlet and the wait *for* the cmdlet would be.
And yes, asking why someone would use a particular OS is no smarter than
asking why someone would use a particular backup system.

On Linux you can send the installation into background with nohup and
that will suppress the message, Not sure about Windows. Why would anyone
want to install Oracle on Windows?
