Reason for not supporting cascading standby when primary is rac

Hello:
Is there any reason why Oracle does not support cascading standby databases
when primary is rac?
It would make more sense when you have multiple instances (and multiple
threads of redo) to offload the work to another standby to propagate the
redo.
