If there’s another tool that works as well as DDL Wizard, I don’t know about
it. All I want is a license key to use to most recently available version.
I’m not asking for any support. I wouldn’t think that they would care if they
don’t have to support it, but obviously there’s more to it than that. At the
moment, I’m using one of the features of Oracle’s SQL Developer, but I’m
having difficulties with that.
I’d also like them to bring back the DataBee sub-setting tool they got from Net
2000 LTD too. I had finally convinced this place to buy it, only to discover
Redgate had bought and buried it 4 months earlier. I’ve had a few discussions
with Redgate about this tool, but they apparently have no interest in selling
or supporting it.

Net 2000 was a huge acquisition by Redgate, giving them the masking tool they
desired for their SQL Clone to go SQL Provision product. I wouldn't be
surprised if they are the lead behind this. The question would be, is there
another tool from them that is similar that competes with it? Now that I don't
know. I'm more familiar with their cloning and masking products as that was in
my wheelhouse while I was at Delphix.
Their marketing just reached out to me yesterday about presenting with them, so
I did ask about a PM that I could talk to about this topic, so let me know if
getting more info on it is still of interest.

utPLSQL was recently supported by RedGate and we're getting interest from their
side in unit testing for Oracle PL/SQL & SQL.
It seems strange that they are giving up on some of their products for Oracle
DB given their overall interest in DB DevOps and CI/CD.

about it. Although Redgate doesn't have the following on the Oracle side like
they do on the Microsoft SQL side, its still a shame to see it go. With their
huge impact on the DevOps, CI/CD with their SQL Provision, (think thin clone
with data masking) product plugged in with their SQL Toolbelt, they've got
quite the customer base, with Oracle supported stuff just a side gig, (same
with MySQL and other db platforms).
