Here is your mistake: 10.2.0.1.0

Once you?ve fixed your problem I recommend applying 10.2.0.3 to Clusterware
at least. Ideally you should have done this before installing ASM.

Reasoning: would you consider running Sun Cluster, Redhat Cluster Suite or
any other cluster software at anything other than a recent patch level?
Clusterware does not affect application behaviour but will affect stability.
Patch it.

Cheers
Adrian

What are you seeing in your ASM alert log? Try starting it just using
sqlplus and check the alert log.

Subject: RAC ASM error
Hi,

Environment:

Oracle 10.2.0.1.0 Standrad Edition
Solaris 10 (sparc 64bit)

I am using Oracle Clusterware only.

I have configure ASM instance on two nodes.I can start both ASM instances
without any error.but when I give crs_stat -t

Name Type Target State Host
------------------------------------------------------------
ora....SM2.asm application ONLINE UNKNOWN bull...rac2
ora....C2.lsnr application ONLINE ONLINE bull...rac2
ora....ac2.gsd application ONLINE ONLINE bull...rac2
ora....ac2.ons application ONLINE ONLINE bull...rac2
ora....ac2.vip application ONLINE ONLINE bull...rac2
ora....SM1.asm application ONLINE UNKNOWN catf...rac1
ora....C1.lsnr application ONLINE ONLINE catf...rac1
ora....ac1.gsd application ONLINE ONLINE catf...rac1
ora....ac1.ons application ONLINE ONLINE catf...rac1
ora....ac1.vip application ONLINE ONLINE catf...rac1

so I tried to start ASM using srvctl

srvctl start asm -n bullhead-rac2

It's giving me below error:
PRKS-1009 : Failed to start ASM instance "+ASM2" on node "bullhead-rac2",
[PRKS-1009 : Failed to start ASM instance "+ASM2" on node "bullhead-rac2",
