Thanks for all the feedback...
I'm keen to brush up on VPD, so I'll take a look at that, and I was very
impressed my the iGuard stuff,.. thanks
But in the short term, I'm going to look at providing a reporting instance
with Materialized Views for the tables in question. Stick snapshot logs on
the source tables and have them fast refreshed every 10mins (or what ever).
I'll need to test this of course, to make sure that the extra write activity
doesn't cause any problems.
