Not this exact situation, but I've bitten by "fixed" bugs in more releases than
I care to admit. If I see a documented fix for anything resolved in 10.1 or
greater (deprecated parameter or not) I test it.
If it's not the ultimate solution at least it points an SR in the right
direction.
