Hi Dimitre:

Thanks for responding.

We have looked at these known issues in Note:201340.1.

We have been working with Oracle Support on BUG -
5088412<https://metalink.oracle.com/metalink/plsql/ml2_documents.showFrameDocument?p_database_id=BUG&p_id=5088412>
 .
Oracle Apps 11i.10.2 default MaxBlockTime is 1000, had to set 5000 as per
support recommendations. As far as BUG-
3810607<http://metalink.oracle.com/metalink/plsql/ml2_documents.showDocument?p_database_id=BUG&p_id=3810607>
 is
concerned, we are not hitting the heap size limit 128MB.

I'm not in the office so I can't be precise but I recall we had to change
KeepAlive in the apache config from its default to something else and that
helped immeasurably.

Also, our network monitoring revealed servlets to be much more chatty than
sockets, which killed us on some of our poor latency segments.
