Oracle 11gR2 on AIX PowerHA 7.1

We are implementing a 2 cluster node using NetApp SAN for our financial
application. I had opened an SR with Oracle where they told me that I could
install a single instance of Oracle and not RAC install. But, the
certification matrix shows that only RAC with AIX PowerHA.
Which one to install?
