It's been a long time since I played with it, so I don't remember much, but if
I recall correctly, I did get it to work using snmptrapd to test. Here are my
notes on some documentation I found useful at the time in case they help:

Overview of OEM SNMP Support:
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/em.102/b16244/chap1.htm

Configuring SNMP on Unix:
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/em.102/b16244/chap2.htm#CHDCCEFB
Note, the files are actually in the agents $ORACLE_HOME/network/snmp/peer
directory (not $ORACLE_HOME/sysman/snmp/peer)

Configuring SNMP with OEM:
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/em.102/b16244/chap2.htm#CBDDHEHC

MOS Documents: 434886.1 & 469884.1

Regards,
Brandon
