But if you develop good habits like creating test databases by recovering the production database, then you will be in a better situation when the database grows. David, I'll have to agree with Dennis on this one. We bit the bullet a long time ago and now have enough disk space and platforms to replicate our ~750Gb production database to 3 test instances. The man-hours to design and mantain a viable subset for accurate testing was deemed more costly.
