AFIAK Presenting LUNs to the servers is not an OS command, you do that from
SAN.

Thanks

*Any sample Solaris 10 Commands / Pointers for Presenting the common LUN
to both DB Server Node Machines?*

STORAGE BOX is Sun StoreEdge 6920 model which is connected VIA a 2 GBPS
Qlogic SAN 16 Port SANSwitch to Both the DB Server Nodes

Configuration:-

Solaris 10

Oracle 10gR2

Aim is to setup a 2 Node ASM RAC using External Redundancy.

Cheers

Hi

As long as they are raw devices and you have presented LUNs to both
servers the can be seen from both nodes.

Nothing to do with Sun Cluster Setup, nothing to do with fancy vg*
commands and your third option is totally out of topic!

…

Thanks

Folks

How are the Oracle Cluster Registry (OCR) & Voting Disk (VD) device files
to be Made Concurrently VISIBLE / Shareable to BOTH Database (Solaris 10)
Nodes?

Five RAW devices (2 OCR & 3 VD) of 200MB each were created only on the
Node 1(Master node).

...not to be mean, but did you see any of this stuff you've done in any
documentation anywhere? The answer is simply that you need shared disks.
That can be dual-ported SCSI DAS, Fibre LUNS, iSCSI LUNS or NAS (NFS) files.
