This may or maynot be true ... but is worth checking out.
I did this in 9i using RAC. We found after testing XA is not RAC compatable.
Meaning all XA connections had to come to just one node. I was told by Oracle
this would be changed in version 11 of the db. Other than that there was a
time-out init.ora value we had to increase I do ot recall the setting.
