GoldenGate Preinstall prior to upgrade !

Hi All,

I have following goldengate query:

I have to upgrade database from 11.1 to 11.2 .

I wanted to install GG12c binaries prior to upgrade on 11.1 database
version and just have manager running with gguser created.

After upgrade , immediately before traffic comes , I want to start add and
start extract and PUMP.

Is this a possible scenario or I have to do a fresh install in 11.2
database with gguser created 11.2?
