I’m not quite sure about your requirement ‘...After upgrade , immediately
before traffic comes , I want to start add and start extract and PUMP. ‘ it
seems that you don’t have Running GG setup.. but plan to create new one
with upgraded database..
If it’s completely new setup then you need to do initial load and there are
few ways to do it.. ofcourse you need to have change synchronization
extract prior to it.. which can be started from the SCN at where your
initial load finished..
If translation starts immediately after the upgrade of database.. it should
not have an issue as you will perform initial load in this case.. even you
can also do it before upgrade of DB but need to stop extract/pump while you
upgrade your DBs..
