Mladen, I upgraded 8.1.7.4 to 9.2.0.1 and then the 9.2.0.5 patch on RedHat AS 2.1u3 and the only problem I found was the @?/rdbms/admin/catpatch.sql. It generated a few errors with the "insufficient privileges" wording. The RMAN catalog upgrade ( on the 8.1.7.4 server upgraded okay but he RMAN target against the 8.1.7.4 database shows that the versions are incompatable). That's the next project.
