We are extremely happy with liquibase, automated releases with maven
integration has made our life very easy. Haven't had the need to look at
Datical yet but you never say never.

Any new experiences with Datical? and/or Liquidbase?

Anyone using other tools like DBmaestro or Redgate or others?

Thanks

Good luck, we are happy with our integration, we used to spend a lot of
time doing releases, but with liquibase, it is integrated with
jenkins/minds tools, so as they deploy app (in any environment
dev/test/qa/perftest/staging/integration/prod) the app gets deployed and
upon its success liquibase performs db release for all contexts (schemas).
We however DO NOT use rollback functionality of liquibase.

They're a fairly small startup, I know the founders - good guys, very

I know opinions are widely mixed on liquibase, but the folks at Datical
are trying to shave some of teh rough edges off of it.

I realize none of that may be helpful, but thats about all I know. I
could put you in touch with one of the founders if you want to speak
wtih
them directly.

Thanks,
Matt

Never heard of it, but if you evaluate do let us know. We recently
standardized on using Liquibase for our deployment, it works
beautifully
for us.
