Even i feel this document is simple enough, All the steps in this mentioned
are mandatory. You got chance to look at this?

*Step by Step Guide on Creating Physical Standby Using RMAN
DUPLICATE...FROM ACTIVE DATABASE [ID 1075908.1]*

You can also refer tahiti documents to configure, have step by step
oriented documents here to configure phyiscal standby database.
