Character set conversion from WE8ISO8859P1 to US7ASCII

I am trying to conver the nls_characterset from E8ISO8859P1 to US7ASCII.
did not find any satisfactory notes from metalink or google.
Anyone has done this before?
This is 10.2.0.3 on Solaris.
