I don't think ASMlib is officially supported with EMC PowerPath. With the
new ver. of PowerPath 4.5 I think it might work. Double check with EMC
before you proceed. We have several instances of 10G RAC with ASM working
with PowerPath not using ASMlib. Mapping with rawdevices and PowerPath works
fine. It is very simple to administer and no layers in between.
