CRS-0210: Could not find resource 'ora.LISTENER.lsnr error when upgrading to 11.2 grid infrastructure

Hi,
I am on OEL V4 64 bit, 2 node RAC, trying to upgrade to 11.2. So I have
started with upgrading the CRS and ASM. All goes OK up until the netca runs,
it fails with:
"CRS-0210: Could not find resource 'ora.LISTENER.lsnr".
It's right there is no resource in the cluster registry, I have keys like
this:
ora.tspstestdb01.LISTENER_TSPSTESTDB01.lsnr
ora.tspstestdb02.LISTENER_TSPSTESTDB02.lsnr
that are online. Also the SCAN listeners and scan vips are up.
It looks to me that it wants a default listener called LISTENER running.
Any ideas of how to deal with this?
