No, "block changes"  does not include redo.  The volume of redo is
identified from 'redo size' and  'redo writes'.  "block changes" is only
about database block changes -- the number of block changes.
Of course, an update to a database block also generates redo -- but the
volume of redo is better identified by 'redo size' which is in bytes.
