I prefer the old way (Reply goes to oracle-l list). Our company's email
filter program will block any email from hotmail and yahoo automatically,
unless one specifies the addresses to let through. So it is possible that I
would miss some email replies from these addresses, if I post a message.

I think that having reply all means that replies are more likely to be =
circulated. A number of discussions have saved my ##$$## just by =
reading through and saving various e-mail threads overtime. I think =
this might reduce the circulation of relevant information. I don't mind =
dealing with deleting e-mail.

..just my 2 cents

I believe we had this discussion some years ago, which was where the Off =
=3D
topic list came from for the bulk of the non technical matter. I =3D
believe, as I recall, that the consensus was to tolerate minor abuse to =
=3D
keep the human side around. Personally I still prefer judicious use of =
=3D
the delete button.

I think these kinds of mistakes keep the list 'human' and are usually
good for a chuckle. If nothing else, it gives you a chance to drown your
embarrasment in a beer or two.
