I just under went the Perl epiphany. Learned perl (workable subset :) in a
couple weeks and was up
And running.
The best 2 books I found for rapid learning were...
1. Teach Yourself Perl in 21 days ( Easy to do in 5 days I say - love these
authors )
2. Learning perl

The only thing I don't like about perl is that it is compiled so you cannot
really do a
Sh -vx on a script and find the problem instantly (unless someone can show
me a faster way than
The debugger and perl -e)

Cheers,
Brian

I don't want to start jihad against the Python infidels, but remember that
the most of the people on this list are good perlians. That includes Jared,
Cary, Steve, Rich Jesse and many others. You can exchange scripts and
experiences with people=20 who speak both oracle and perl.
