a former pt came in with heavy duty aluminium foil to put on the exam chair
since the chemicals of the chair (and everything else including meds, cleaners,
...) gave her and husband bad allergic reactions. (No chemicals in that
aluminium foil I guess). And as “environmental activists” (think tree hugging)
she rolled up the foil (no gloves) and threw it in the garbage. (Conservation
at its best)
Or the one pt that was severely allergic to electricity in any form that needed
photos, I was able to get a few but had to have her put away the cell phone,
and yes, she wore glasses when she drives her car (a newer model) (do they make
cars or cell phones these days without any electrical components?)

And recall the carefree joy of childhood

I had an incidence last year where a patient fainted and fell off the chair

to certain lights had that affect on her.
