I echo my esteemed colleagues comments. We have a long history with Konan
Specular Micrography and also employ the CellChek in our Diagnostic center. We
generally count our cells manually with the Center Flex modality ( per the
recommendations of my good friend Beth Ann Benetz at Case Western) and find
this instrument to be very useful in our Corneal Clinics.

Don't buy the Heidelberg it's not a specular microscope. It's a confocal
microscope for imaging the corneal. We have 2 Konan CellCheck SLs and they work
great, never had any issues, and interface with Epic and Continuum. They count
the cells automatically or you can do it manually. We've never had to it
manually. There are a lot of option to change the size and shape of the cells
too.
