For those of you who are in Canada, or who have access to Canadian
broadcasting, you may be interested in the press release I recently received
from ORBIS Canada, below. This is a spinoff series to Mighty Ships called
Mighty Planes, featuring the ORBIS Flying Eye Hospital during their mission in
Mongolia last summer. It is not yet known when the series will be shown in the
rest of the world but there are definitely plans for it.

A MIGHTY PLANE helping millions see a whole new world
The premier of the eight-part documentary series, MIGHTY PLANES featuring the
ORBIS Flying Eye Hospital on a medical program to Mongolia in June 2011 is
scheduled to air on the Discovery Channel on Sunday, February, 26th at 8:00
p.m. ET/PT.
The MIGHTY PLANES documentary filmmakers joined the DC-10 aircraft, the world’s
only Flying Eye Hospital, for a “mighty” adventurous week and captured the
ORBIS medical and operations crews working tirelessly to deliver the precious
gift-of-sight to those who need it most and to train local medical
professionals in developing countries.
