Paul and group,
Thanks for the feedback. Saving and resizing is of course an option, albeit not
practical.
Several photos per eye, you’re looking at a big chunk of time.
Party on,
Ethan

Subject: [optimal] Re: Clarus printing times
Your printing times are probably related to 2 things. Interface. File size.
If you can export the images, then convert them to a smaller JPG, you'll most
likely resolve your issue. One issue other camera makers have is they lower
the resolution too much, the Clarus on the other hand doesn't give the option
to lower it at all. If you're printing the file to take up a 48" by 48" space,
then the original file size is more ideal. For any other application, lower
the resolution.

Ethan,
I’m sorry that this isn’t really going to answer your question, but I find that
any function , other than taking images, on the Clarus is painfully slow.
Opening images, selecting the patient to image after one has pulled them up in
the database. I love the fundus and FA images this device provides (hate the
green and blue FAF) , but I’m not a fan (at all) of the user interface.

Good evening,
We have been experiencing extremely long printing times with the Clarus.
Very fast network and large printers which handle all other printing chores.
Any ballpark figure for how long it takes the system to free up once a print is
sent ?
Thanks, Ethan
