Everyone,

In the August 25th issue of OSN Retina in the Ocular Surgery News section,
there is great article about being able to confirm toxicity by performing a
simple 7 line high resolution scan of the macula. Rather than quoting the
article by Dr. Anne E. Fung, I suggest everyone take a look/see, the article
is on page 25.

Thank You,

It would appear he is amending his AAO Update "Revised Recommendations on
Screening for Chloroquine and Hydroxychloroquine Retniopathy. Published
2011 Ophthalmology Vol 118, Number 2, February 2011

On page 417, last paragraph he states" Automated threshold visual field
testing with a white 10-2 pattern gives high resolution within the macular
region"

We will investigate further. Anyone else have anything to add?

Denice,

The Plaquenil 10-2 visual fields are done with red target. Here is an
article by Marmor on the subject of red vs white target.

Do not indicate if 10-2 VF should be white or red target. Does anyone out
