I have tried it, not a lot of luck, and I have two different CRT lenses.
I have not tried my husband's flat screen because the Optacon II and
lenses are at work and I don't carry them around any longer.

has anyone had any luck reading a monitor screen on an xp home system.
For that matter, has anyone had any luck in reading in the windows =
environment. This would be a handy ability to have especially those
times we need to = trouble shoot something in safe mode. Brian

Lisette, Like you I was taught to read the optacon display with my left
= hand and move the camera with my right. However as others have also =
mentioned when reading Braille, I use both hands and lead with my right.
