I am happy that I have at least three tools for reading print: Optacon,
flatbed scanner, and iPhone 6 for which I bought a stand from Blind Mice
Megamall for holding my iPhone at the ideal relationship to the print to be
read. I have to test the iPhone stand more thoroughly now that I got a new
battery for my iPhone. My whole idea is to use whichever reading tool works
best for the need at hand. Of course, my Optacon will allow me to read some
things that no OCR device available now can touch. I often rely on the
ability to take that camera anywhere on the page or screen that I want, thus
allowing me to have complete control of the reading order.

This list is quiet. Where is everybody?
I may have to send my optacon in for repair. There's a vellow in this
province who takes care of it. I hope he still can. Shame on me! I don't
have a plan B. I don't like OCR. If I msut, I'll I'll buy an apple device
which will take a picture of documents.
