And you were wrong every time you used this argument.
And Craig is as slow as ever. So, let's look again at the article of this
thread:
https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2017/09/viacom-discovery-and-others-to-offer-sports-free-tv-streaming-package/
It says, among other things,
"The countless number of TV streaming services continues to grow with the
addition of a forthcoming bundle that leaves a big audience behind: sports
lovers. According to a report from The Wall Street Journal, media companies
including Viacom, Discovery, AMC Networks, A+E Networks, and Scripps
Interactive are joining together to create a sports-free streaming service that
will have a 'soft launch' in the coming weeks. The report suggests that leaving
out sports, which is the most expensive type of programming, will allow the
service to keep the price tag under $20 per month."
So, since we already know that Discovery and Scripps are tying the knot, we can
certainly expect that this new bundle would include HGTV and the Food Network,
**WITHOUT** having to pay a tax to ESPN. In other words, you may be paying
about the same price as Sling TV, but you will be getting a lot more content,
as a result of not paying that tax to subsidize overpaid men who throw spheres.
The vast majority of U.S. homes subscribe to the MVPD bundles
You once asked to let you know when the percentage fell below 80%. It has. And
is still falling.
"The bundle is unraveling" means exactly what is happening, Craig. People are
dropping those legacy bundles, in favor of the new, more focused ones, that
better fill their wants. Oh yeah, that's what I just said! And that's precisely
what this article is describing to you. Your stubborn arguing is sounding more
and more ridiculous.
