When I hear comments like this I humble up and remember some key words,
"Judge not, lest ye be judged" Maybe your "hypocrite" is between you and God. 
(does that make him closer?) If a VP's daughter is "fair game" then a 
candidates wife's income tax shelters, a scornful keystone in his platform, is 
in play and hypocrisy is a word that comes to mind.
