I'm still paying just $35 a night at the Motel 6 on Tropicana. It's
clean and quiet and has great Wi-Fi, a 24-hour shop that carries The
New York Times, and a 24 hour restaurant. They also encourage ordering
in from other restaurants. It's across the street from the MGM Grand
for access to the convention via bus or monorail. Just bring your own shampoo and tissues. It's possible to book outside the convention and save literally hundreds of dollars. That's not exactly good business by the NAB looking out for its members.
