I've come to the conclusion that except for obviously very long distances,
indoor antenna reception with DTT is deceptively good. It's almost like if it
can be received at all, you can probably receive it indoors, if the station is
local and you're facing in a reasonably good direction.

Very weird. But gratifying.

Last time I checked, when this first came up, the www.tvfool.com model said
that my signal strength from all Baltimore stations is *below* -100 dBm, using
outdoor antenna. Yet, they seem to come in fine with my outdoor antenna, and a
few even come in with the indoor antenna, using 3rd gen ATSC receivers.

So I don't know. The results using the Hata empirical model seem to do better
for my situation, even though there's only a building clutter J factor, antenna
heights, distances, but nothing about terrain.
