It wasn't me...  ;-)

The idea of putting a lamp behind a TV is far from new.
What's new in this Ambilight, actually this is already 2nd
generation, is:
- we use R+G+B LumiLEDs, so you can mix any colour, and
- the intensity and colour are dynamically controlled as a
  function of the picture content.
It now seems that this greatly enhances the viewing experience.
