The limitations are network bandwidth and the processing power of the
STB to grab the content and store it on a disk drive while still
keeping the live video display happy.  There isn't anything like a
tuner in an IPTV box, just a single physical Ethernet connection with
logical multicast/unicast streams carried over it.
