Hi, Bert Manfredi: > Also, all programs will include their original language sound track. My friend who lives in Italia will be very happy about this, because all these dubbed soundtracks drive him crazy. Especially since the number of voices seems to be limited, and they are not always too similar to the original voices. But what about the rights issue ? I've always thought that dubbing a movie makes it less valuable, and therefore cheaper to broadcast. This could have been overcome with conditional access to the Italian market only. How can they afford not to ? Or is it simply that the reach of the transmitters ends very close to the border ? There are the Alps, that will form a natural barrier for the airwaves. I find that there is an insane number of Italian language channels on the Hotbird satellite (DVB-S). Surely not all of them are going to be carried nation-wide on DTT (DVB-T) ? And BTW, none of them seem to have multiple soundtracks. Anyway, bravi ! Regards, -- Jeroen +-------------------------------+------------------------------------------+ | From: Jeroen H.
