Very good, Craig. So, guess what, HBO and others had to follow suit, because
they were losing customers in the walled garden. What don't you get about this?
What you completely ignore is that Hulu is OWNED by the content
conglomerates,
Makes no difference who the owners are. They have moved outside the
monopolistic, closed-in model. They have to sell without the monopoly pipe they
enjoyed previously.
I have four broadband providers if Satellite ISPs are included.
Satellite cannot compete in congested areas. You might have two choices at
best, at home. You might have (slower) DSL from Verizon or Cox. That's two, at
best, and both are "sticky." Absolutely NO comparison with OTT sites. None.
That is, as long as you have neutrality guaranteed.
