"Smaller slice of spectrum" is very misleading, but I agree with John. Confused
semantics could explain why it's unclear. However, I think the tabboo rules are
undeniably eased with digital, especially because we have examples of adjacent
channels, even now after analog shutoff, that seem to work very well. Wasn't
the old UHF analog rule something like local stations had to be 6 channels
apart?
