There is noting to prevent broadcasters from using their spectrum to offer both
broadcast and two way services. The ATSC 3.0 standard has any hooks for two way
services. To the best of my knowledge there is nothing in the FCC rules that
would prevent broadcasters from using a portion of their spectrum for a return
channel.

Bottom line, in five years there could be three industries competing

Telcos using various cellular and OFDM Broadcast technologies

I know you like to use the vaguest possible words, just so you won't be
called out on these proclamations, but best not let you get away with it,
I've discovered.
What are you trying to say? That all three industries you listed would offer
both LPTV and broadband? Or that some will offer one, and some will offer
something else?
For instance, I can't believe, after we have gone through this so many times,
that you would claim broadcasters would offer broadband over ATSC 3.0,
without proof. Here's where to go to get that proof:

Explain, Craig. I think you are using circular "reasoning," but I'll let you
prove it.
