*What's New: User Type New Granular Permissions for Week of Sept. 9 2019*
*Item Editor* - Increased Staff / Member Granular Permissions
Volunteer circulation desk staff can be authorized to enter temporary,
brief, or ILL items to circulate. However, detailed cataloging is usually
reserved for librarians or cataloging staff. Programmers have added options
to “User Rights” enabling you to assign very specific cataloging rights to
a user type profile. To do this you will need to go to Admin
Tab>>Preferences>>User Types and edit the already created Volunteer, Aides,
etc. If you do not have a User Type already in place you can create one.
