Hey everyone,

This is my first year with OLA and also my first year teaching. I am giving
my first oral exams next week and I have a few questions I am wrestling
with. The oral exam is a conversation in a short role play between two
students chosen at random in the class.

First, any good ideas for meaningful activities that the kids can do while
I am assessing the two students taking the test?

Second, Is there a good rubric out there for assessing students oral
language? Should I just use the ACTFL levels as a rubric and guideline?

Third, any other tips or strategies for executing an oral exam like this
that you experience teachers could pass along.

Thanks everyone.

Cheers,

Drew
