Hello all. As part of my graduate internship this summer, I am working with
Southern Oregon Migrant Education on presenting a excellent product called
Vroom (http://joinvroom.org/). There are downloadable materials and a free app
to go with it.
Vroom is based on brain research that highlights the importance of parent-child
interactions in early childhood. It is free and offers wonderful, easy to
implement activities for parents to do with their children in English or
Spanish.
If you are in Southern Oregon and have a parent-teacher meeting with parents
who are in charge of children between the age of 0-5 and would like a short
presentation or a full workshop on the product, I would be glad to present or
workshop with your parents in English, Spanish or a combination.
If you aren’t in Southern Oregon, I’d be glad to talk to you about it anyway!
