At least in the Willamette Valley sightings appear to be on the increase.
There have been at least 5 different sightings around Eugene this winter.
I used to see Lewis’s Woodpeckers much more frequently than I have the last 10
years.
I just saw another one today along the Long Tom River from Franklin Rd.
