Hi OBOL --
I thought the latest publication from Audubon Society of Portland's citizen
science program might be of interest to many of you. Last year 47 volunteers
surveyed BLACK OYSTERCATCHERS along the Oregon coast. The report at the link
below compares the results with those of a survey done a decade earlier.
Results indicate an apparent substantial increase in oystercatcher numbers in
the breeding season along our coast. The report can be found here:
