Hi OBOL --
Here's a way we all can help provide data on bird populations to a regional
utility doing valuable conservation work, simply by birding and entering data
through eBird for several hotspots in Washington County.
Clean Water Services (CWS) works with several partner organizations including
Metro and THPRD to improve water quality and enhance native habitats across
Washington County. To better understand how these efforts are supporting
biodiversity, CWS is working with Portland Audubon, citizen volunteers, and
eBird to collect data on bird diversity and abundance at several of these
enhancement sites. If you are interested in contributing to this effort,
please consider visiting one of the eBird hotspots listed below and recording
bird sightings via eBird:
* Bronson Creek Greenway (a new hotspot)
* Fanno Creek at Englewood Park (a new hotspot)
* Rock Creek Greenway
* Beaverton Creek Wetlands Park
