Hello all,
Well, after reading so many posts about sheer numbers of
this and that flock of birds, I am happy to report that I now have at least
"one" CHESTNUT-BACKED CHICK-A-DEE at my feeder since Monday, the first for
my yard. I had seen one several years ago in a tree right across the field
from my place. This morning I had a single PINE SISKIN at the same feeder,
and JUNCOS out front in the trees. The Juncos are usually common in the
winter, and I had a small flock of the Siskins here once before, also
several years ago. I'll keep my eyes open for more excitement.

And as "Hwy 26, near Tillamook, north side, etc, etc,
is more info than many posts I read, where I say to myself "Where is
this?", methinks the moderator is being a little grumpy on this one.

PS: Two days ago I had dozens of Bushtits, Juncos and Chick-a-dees swarming
the bushes and trees in front of where I live; south side of Scholls-Ferry,
next to Fanno Creek.
