Our group found a Selasphorus feeding at thistles between Kiger Gorge and
the East Rim of Steens Mountain on Sep 6. I'm not sure if it's the same
bird previously reported from that area but I do now believe it was a
Calliope instead of Broad-tailed.

The tail seemed longer than the wings when the thistle-patch bird was
(rarely) perched. We could see no rufous in the tail at all when it was
spread.
We got no pics of the second bird but it seemed to be the same species.
